🏙️ Outing Idea
We’ve got an idea for an outing that’s worth your time!
Fruit Way
Take an afternoon to visit Utah’s Famous Fruit Way. On Old Highway 89, just outside Brigham City (about 1 hour north of SLC), you’ll pass several small, local farms and their fruit stands. This mountain basin offers rich soil and cool evenings in the shade of Black Mountain and Ben Lomond Peak. You’ll find peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, pears, melons, and more.
There are over a dozen family fruit and vegetable stands including Tagge’s Famous Fruit & Veggie Farms, Paul’s Patch, and Grammy’s Produce.
Fruit Way is usually a stop on the way to Bear Lake, but we think it’s worth a visit all on its own.
Tips
While most farm stands accept credit cards, it’s best to bring some cash just in case
Most of the farm stands are closed Sundays. Visit Monday - Saturday before 6:00PM or so
The season ends sometime in October or November, depending on the weather

🚨 New Activity Alert
Want a new perspective on SLC? The Walker Center is offering a new tour called Salt Lake After Dark: Night Lights. You’ll get the inside scoop on some of the city’s most interesting history. End the tour on the Walker Center rooftop, where you’ll see the famous Walker Center sign lit up. Take in the views and get some good pictures! Tours are booked out a week or so, and are only available on weekends. Get yours booked for about $30.
