🏙️ Outing Idea

We’ve got an idea for an outing you can do anytime!

 Farm-to-Glass Cocktail Contest

Salt Lake Magazine is currently running their annual Farm-to-Glass Cocktail Contest, and you are one of the judges! There are 23 different bars participating, and each one has a specialty cocktail for the occasion.

  • We’re curious to try the Dirty Rat, a ratatouille-inspired savory martini at HSL.

  • Post Office Place is featuring a cocktail inspired by the Great Salt Lake called What Remains—a complex gin drink with herbal liqueur and preserved lemon cordial, topped with a salty watermelon hibiscus foam and a pickled sea bean.

  • Water Witch is currently in the lead with Sack Lunch, a green apple libation with baking spices and aromatics, garnished with a house-made peach burrata bite.

These unique cocktails are definitely worth seeking out! Give them a try and be sure to vote for your favorites before October 1st!

🗓️ Don’t Forget!

  • Library Card Sign Up Month: September is the time to celebrate your library card - get cool discounts and ride Green Bikes for free all month long!

  • Get to the River Festival: The Jordan River Commission has been working hard to restore the Jordan River. Celebrate with bird walks, chalk art, bike rides and more!
